I hope all the wonderful bloggers out there are having a great weekend:) I've been making You Tube trailers!
I write stories like movies. Legally Blonde inspired me to finish law school but I dream of caramel lattes in the morning and travelling to amazing places in the afternoon. The teen fiction on my blog is inspired by the classics Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. Tweeting @summerdaylight

BLOG TAG
My Twitter friend Summer Ellen Lane over at http://writingbelle.blogspot.com/ just sent me this blog tag... I'm answering the questions SEL... now what do I do next?!
- YA romance or Adult romance? I like both, definitely, but I like what is happening with YA - the fact that it doesn't necessarily stay in that genre. A lot of adults read YA just like when I was a teen, I often read novels written for grown ups.
- If you could embody any single figure throughout history – who would it be? Too many to choose but someone who experienced truth, travel, loyalty, family, passion, glamour, beauty (both outer & inner) and true love.
- Do you play a musical instrument? Yes.
- Who is your favorite actor? This changes. Today it's Michael Fassbender & not to leave out the female actors, I'd add Anna Sophia Robb and Carey Mulligan.
- What’s your favorite thrilling movie? ie. Blockbuster? Thrills = The Fast & the Furious series because chases are always gripping. I saw a film called "Like Crazy" recently, that I really enjoyed, it was a very sweet story about a long distance romance, it was about a 'romantic' chase in a way.
- Favorite uplifting, touching song? I kinda like it when I hear it & then I know it!
- Modern or classical art? Modern (but I like it best when artists are classically trained... then go completely off the map). That said, I've seen some amazing exhibitions of the old masters so I have respect for art in all its many forms.
- Do you prefer Kindle or “real” books? Both. At first I wasn't sure about Kindle, now I love it. Kindle is the future and I think we should all embrace its brilliance.
- Cats or dogs? I love cats but they don't love me. I'm gonna have to say DOGS - they are always happy to eat, hug & be patted and wise people have said, at some point you just have to love what loves you in return!
- Disneyland or Universal Studios? I'm going to go with Universal because I love movies...
- Birthday or Christmas? * wink * BOTH
OKAY - NOW I'VE ADDED THESE FOR YOU SUMMER ELLEN & CHELES BELLS, Airicka Phoenix and ANY OF OUR FRIENDS...is this the way the game is played? Anyway, yr questions rocked & I hope you have fun answering mine!

THANKS TO MY WONDERFUL BLOG MEMBERS
Thanks to the amazing blog members who have been with me from the start, and also the fabulous newbies. I always try to advertise when my novels are free here, and you are pretty much the first to know everything. I'm writing at the moment which keeps me busy, but I try to check in, chat and respond to messages (mostly) on Twitter. However, If you ever feel inclined to leave a nice and/or informative message on my blog, you should know, your words make my day so much brighter:)
Little pieces of pink cotton candy light up my sky and everything tastes as wonderful as the yummiest chocolate in that moment. So, Mwah to you all, lovelies:) & Happy Reading Summer.

WUTHERING NIGHTS PROLOGUE
WUTHERING NIGHTS
Prologue
From the journal of Greta Gardner,
February 1978
The boy arrived at night, wrapped
in a blanket. He was carried by his adopted father who placed him on the
kitchen floor next to me. His big blue eyes stared out from under his wild
black hair. He shrank from the fire, he shrank from my touch, yet his skin was
cold as ice…
He arrived with a list of
instructions tucked into the pocket of his jacket.
Eats - mostly chicken and oranges
(likes: roast chicken, blood oranges and plums).
Drinks - mostly water and citrus
juice.
First warning - do not let him go in the sun
often as he burns easily.
Second warning - make sure he wears
his necklace amulet (a parting gift from his biological mother). He screams if
you take it.
Final Warning - do not let him go
out at night alone.
As a small boy (just walking) he
had a tendency to wander off, and many times staff at the orphanage were unable
to find the little fellow for hours. Once, he was found hanging upside down
from the roof of the school gymnasium, like a bat. The only giveaway was the
drip drip drip of juice as he stuffed his baby face with blood oranges.
His file was then stamped: Special Needs.
WUTHERING NIGHTS, a modern version of WUTHERING HEIGHTS is available now on AMAZON: Here is the link, lovely readers:
